History

DANKO Hodowla Roślin Sp. z o.o. continues old cereal breeding tradition, which dates back to 1880. In that year Aleksander Janasz initiated winter wheat, winter rye and soon after sugar beet breeding at its station in Dańków.
Despite many organizational and ownership changes, the company managed to keep up with success the maintenance of breeding materials and ideas, which contributed in great measure to creation and developing of Polish plant breeding school.
